HI THERE! I’m Nicole Band, the maker behind Solstice Woodworks. After picking up my first power tool back in 2017 I was hooked! As a self taught artist, my style has evolved over the years to incorporate both geometric and natural landscape designs.

Often my inspiration is derived from the materials themselves - each piece is one of a kind, and created using salvaged & reclaimed woods. I source all my materials locally, with some coming straight out of historical homes in the Wilmington, NC area. Finding ways to re-capture the beauty in lumber that was marked for the landfill will never get old!

When I’m not working you’ll likely find me somewhere outside, enjoying the simple life with my husband Mike and our two pups Mookie & Chubbs.
